* ​​Daily management responsibility for day-to-day operation of Centerville Environmental Services department.  Primary duties include supervising, training, scheduling, and quality control of the designated area of responsibility. _​_

* _​_  _​_  _-_   _Participates_   _in the hire, evaluation, counseling,_   _coaching_   _and disciplinary action of Centerville Environmental Services employees._

_​_  _-_   _Helps supervise all Facilities Services staff._

_​_  _-_   _Conducts and oversees annual evaluations process_  _._    _Completes initial departmental orientation and on-_  _going in-_  _service of staff_  _._    _Completes department/job competencies updating as required by regulatory and accrediting agencies._

_​_  _-_   _Participates_   _in Six Sigma initiatives by leading projects including A3 project or being an active team member._

_​_  _-_   _Prepares and leads EVS and Ancillary group Huddles._

_​_  _-_   _Ensures that supply and inventory levels at West Lakes meet Lean standards._

_​_  _-_   _Responsible for scheduling staff and monitoring_   _work flow_   _to ensure demands and customer needs are met._

_​_  _-_   _Coordinates the inspection programs (ESC and Dazo) for Centerville to ensure quality measures are being met and reports results to Facilities Services Director._

_​_  _-_   _Responds to guest comments and criticisms constructively and positively, and as an opportunity to provide service recovery._

_​_  _-_   _Maintains_   _and demonstrates a good understanding of the area control of all supplies, chemicals,_   _equipment_   _and personnel within Environmental Services._

_​_  _-_   _Inspects check-outs and release to ensure required standard is met._

_​_  _-_   _Trains and retrains Environmental Service personnel as directed by the_   _Operations_   _or coordinating Manager._

_​_  _-_   _Inspects equipment daily to_   _maintain_   _clean condition and good repair;_   _observes_   _cleaning needs throughout hospital and_   _submits_   _written requests to coordinating Manager._

_​_  _-_   _Assigns duties to staff in case of fire, internal_   _disaster_   _or community disaster._

_​_  _-_   _Participates_   _as a member of the Fire Emergency Team_

+  _​_  _Responsible for monthly EOC tours to ensure compliance related to r_  _egulatory agency requirements._

+  _​_  _Responsible to follow-up and resolve any issues not meeting regulatory agency standards_

+  _​_  _Other duties as assigned by manager_

** Required Education*
* ​​High school diploma or GED, required.​

** Required Minimum Knowledge,*

* ​​- Ability to read, write, comprehend and speak English fluently.

​- Three years experience in a clerical, reception, sales or supervisory position.

​- Computer experience (1 year).

​- Education may be substituted for experience.​
