What We Are Looking For

Sub Assembly Refrigeration works as part of a team responsible for assembling various components of product lines, including preparing coils, performing leak checks, filling coils with nitrogen, and placing pressure plates.

What You’ll Be Responsible For In This Role
  • Read and comprehend a job order and bill of materials.
  • Identify parts used on the assigned product line and their placement locations.
  • Read and comprehend blueprints or schematic drawings to determine component locations, sizes, capacities, and types (compressor, condenser, expansion valve, tubing, or piping).
  • Cut, bend, and braze specified tubing to form refrigeration system lines.
  • Remove air from the system and charge the system with the specified amount and type of refrigerant.
  • Conduct pre‑startup checks on all equipment.
  • Identify and use appropriate hand and power tools for the assigned product line.
  • Perform general assembly tasks using hand or power tools.
  • Identify parts and descriptions using work order information such as the bill of materials.
  • Utilize provided information on material gauging and dimensioning.
  • Read measuring instruments such as rulers, tape measures, and metal squares.
  • Fasten parts together with bolts, screws, speed clips, rivets, or other fasteners.
  • Identify maintenance needs for equipment and tooling.
  • Use electrical testing equipment like dielectric testers or voltage meters.
  • Work at different workstations as production needs dictate.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work area.
  • Use proper safety equipment and apparel required for each operation.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Constant occurrence: 2/3 or more of the time.
