The Gathering is a growing, Christ-centered, non-denominational church in Centerville, Ohio, with over 850 people attending each Sunday and nearly 100 baptisms annually in recent years. Our mission is simple:

We are a multi-generational church that values biblical truth, authentic community, and helping people take their next step in following Christ. After a recent building expansion and a season of significant growth, we are excited about what God is doing and where He is leading us next.

The Opportunity

We are seeking a full-time Worship Pastor who is passionate about leading congregational worship and investing in people.

Our previous Worship Pastor served faithfully for seven years before answering a call to another ministry. We are looking for someone who can build on a healthy foundation by leading worship with excellence while shepherding and developing our volunteer teams.

This role is about more than music. We are looking for a pastor who loves people, disciples volunteers, and helps create worship environments where the congregation actively engages with God.

What You’ll Do

Lead and plan Sunday worship services
Collaborate with the Lead Pastor to create cohesive, gospel-centered gatherings
Recruit, develop, and disciple worship team volunteers
Build a culture that prioritizes congregational participation over performance
Provide leadership and care for worship and production volunteers

Bonus Skills (Preferred but Not Required)

Experience overseeing production and technology teams
Familiarity with Planning Center and church production systems
Audio, video, livestream, lighting, and Pro Presenter experience
