Hybrid remote in Centerville, OH (Montgomery County)

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team at Allied Learning Institute. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in behavioral therapy and a passion for working with individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism. This position is ideal for someone looking for a hybrid position, with a mix of both in-person and remote hours (details negotiable depending on experience).

As a BCBA, you will play a crucial role in assessing patient needs, developing behavior intervention plans, and providing support to clients and their families.

Duties
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments to identify behavioral challenges and needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized behavior intervention plans based on assessment findings.
  • Provide direct behavioral therapy to clients, utilizing evidence-based practices.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
  • Maintain accurate medical documentation and records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Conduct diagnostic evaluations to determine the appropriate course of treatment for clients.
  • Monitor client progress and adjust intervention strategies as necessary.
  • Provide training and support to staff members on best practices in behavior analysis.
  • Engage with families to educate them about behavioral strategies and interventions.
Skills
  • Proficient in patient assessment techniques and tools.
  • Strong knowledge of behavioral therapy methodologies.
  • Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and medical documentation standards.
  • Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism.
  • Ability to maintain detailed medical records accurately.
  • Experience working with children in therapeutic settings is preferred.
  • Strong diagnostic evaluation skills to assess client needs effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration with clients, families, and team members.
  • Compassionate approach towards individuals with disabilities, fostering a supportive environment.
