Infusion SchedulingThe scheduler is responsible for the coordination of patient care between the physician office, the patient, and various hospital departments. The scheduler must provide excellent customer service with good verbal and written communication skills, have excellent computer skills with the ability to multi‑task between various hospital system applications, and be very detail‑oriented. The scheduler is also expected to maintain a high level of accuracy and meet department productivity requirements.

- The scheduler must provide excellent customer service with good verbal and written communication skills.
- The scheduler must have excellent computer skills and the ability to multi‑task between various hospital system applications.
- The scheduler must be very detail oriented.
- The scheduler is expected to maintain a high level of accuracy and meet department productivity requirements.
- The scheduler must also have the ability to review charts for accuracy in scheduling advanced appointment types.
- High School Completion equivalent
- High School Expected date letter in lieu of Diploma
- High School Graduate
- Basic Medical Terminology
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced medical office environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to multi‑task across multiple hospital platforms and applications
- Ability to follow directions, accept orders, and perform repetitive tasks
- A.D. in Business or health related field preferred.
- Infusion scheduling for Oncology or Oncology coding and billing experience preferred.
- Office assistant or clerical experience preferred.
- At least 1 year of Epic/EMR experience preferred.
