Mill Machinist - 2nd Shift

Our company is seeking a skilled and experienced Mill Machinist to join our team on the 2nd shift. As a Mill Machinist, you will be responsible for setting up and operating a variety of machine tools to produce precision parts and instruments.

Second Shift employees receive a 10% shift premium and paid lunch breaks.

• Set up and operate CNC mills to perform machining operations such as drilling, tapping, boring, and milling
• Interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders to determine product specifications
• Select and install appropriate cutting tools and fixtures
• Monitor machine operations to ensure parts are produced to accurate dimensions and specifications
• Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance
• Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise during the machining process
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of experience working as a Mill Machinist
• Proficiency in reading blueprints and engineering drawings
• Experience with CNC milling machines
• Strong knowledge of machining tools and techniques
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and precision
