Hard Turn Machinist

• Set up and operate hard turning machines to produce precision components according to blueprints and specifications
• Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as needed to ensure quality and production goals are met
• Inspect finished parts for accuracy and quality, making any necessary corrections or adjustments
• Troubleshoot issues with machines and tools to maintain optimal performance
• Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize processes and improve efficiency
• Maintain a clean and organized work area

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 5 years of experience operating hard turning machines in a manufacturing setting
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Knowledge of cutting tools, materials, and machining processes
• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Proficiency with GD&T
• Ability to work to .0002 tolerance
