Hospice Aide (STNA/CNA) – Home Care
Location: Darke County, OH
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

- Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- No evenings or weekends required
- Predictable daytime schedule for consistent work-life balance
- Provide direct personal care to hospice patients in home settings
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, grooming, dressing, and oral care
- Support patient safety and proper use of medical equipment
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding and nutrition as needed
- Take and record vital signs (temperature, pulse, respirations, blood pressure) as directed
- Monitor skin integrity and assist in preventing breakdown
- Observe and report changes in patient condition to the RN Case Manager
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and families
- Offer respite care for caregivers
- Minimum 16 years of age
- Active State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) / Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
- Listed on the state nurse aide registry in good standing
- Current BLS certification
- Understanding of hospice philosophy and end-of-life care
- Strong communication, compassion, and reliability
- Experience in hospice, home health, or long-term care
- Comfort providing care to terminally ill patients
