Medical Director – Emergency Veterinarian (Dayton, OH)

Care Center Dayton is a specialty and emergency hospital located in Ohio’s Miami Valley, just an hour north of Cincinnati and west of Columbus. We are a close‑knit, dedicated team focused on high‑quality care and a positive, supportive work culture.

As Medical Director, you’ll lead our ER team and specialists in a collaborative environment. You’ll balance clinical shifts with leadership responsibilities – offering mentorship, upholding medical excellence, and helping to shape hospital growth.

• DVM or equivalent degree, with Ohio veterinary license (or eligibility)
• Emergency medicine background
• 3–5+ years of leadership or mentoring experience
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to lead and inspire a diverse team
• Confidence overseeing a team that includes specialists

• Leadership coursework or certifications
• Experience building or shaping medical teams
• A collaborative spirit and proactive mindset

• Total annual compensation of $175,000–$200,000
