Position: SECURITY SPECIALIST - ARMED
Department: CAMPUS POLICE
Status: FULL TIME / 80 HOURS PER PAY PERIOD
Shift
Hours:
12 HOURS SHIFTS TO INCLUDE DAY OR NIGHTS SHIFT, ALSO WEEKENDS, HOLIDAYS
Facility: MIAMI VALLEY HOSPITAL SOUTH
Responsibilities- Protect persons or property.
- Investigate criminal offenses that occur on facility property.
- Enforce facility rules and regulations.
- Minimum:
High School completion / GED. - Preferred:
Associates Degree.
- OPOTA Required Basic Security Guard Training.
- State required 20 hours of firearms training.
- Valid Ohio driver's license required.
- No prior job-related work experience required.
- Computer skills desirable.
- Ability to work under pressure with many interruptions while remaining calm and pleasant to the public and facility personnel.
