Construction Assistant

The Assistant Construction Project Manager, works under the direction of the Field Project Manager to maintain the daily cleanliness and condition of each home during the construction process. The Assistant constantly monitors the quality of the work within the home and reports insufficiencies to the Project Manager. The Assistant may at the discretion of the Project Manager perform other duties to prepare the home for closing.

• Maintain the interior and exterior safety and cleanliness of each home during the construction process
• Prep pads prior to framing
• Prep home for the 4-way inspection
• Prep subfloor prior to flooring installation
• Eliminate any floor squeaks prior to final walk
• Walk and blue tape home prior to final Project Manager’s Quality Walkthrough
• Any other prep or pick-up work as assigned by the Project Manager

• Driver’s license and ability to drive to various job sites
• Basic knowledge of all phases of new home construction
• Tools necessary for basic repairs and carpentry
• Ability to get along with coworkers & home buyers
• Willingness to learn new skills

This is a full-time hourly position for an Assistant Construction Project Manager in Davis County, UT. Symphony offers highly competitive hourly wages (DOE).
