Senior System Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior System Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in systems engineering and design, with a focus on service-oriented architecture and solution architecture. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and implement robust IT infrastructure solutions that enhance our operational capabilities. The Senior System Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the security, efficiency, and reliability of our systems while driving innovation through the adoption of modern technologies.

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable system architectures that meet business requirements.
• Develop and manage ETL processes to ensure data integrity and availability across systems.
• Collaborate with IT teams to optimize cloud security measures and ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Lead the deployment of applications using AWS, Azure, or other cloud platforms.
• Oversee system administration tasks, including load balancing, firewall management, VPN configurations, and DNS setup.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and implement system hardening techniques to protect against threats.
• Utilize Agile methodologies to manage projects effectively within a Dev Ops environment.
• Engage in continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices to streamline development workflows.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers on best practices in systems engineering and design.

• Proficiency in service-oriented architecture, solution architecture, and systems engineering principles.
• Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure components, including computer networking, operating systems (Windows/Linux), and virtualization technologies (VMware, ESXi).
• Familiarity with database management systems, including MySQL, Postgre
  
  SQL, Microsoft SQL Server, and Oracle.
• Understanding of cloud technologies, including AWS services and Azure solutions.
• Expertise in web services integration using RESTful APIs and SOAP protocols.
• Knowledge of containerization technologies, such as Kubernetes, for microservices deployment.
• Familiarity with tools for debugging, scripting (Shell Scripting), version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins), and threat intelligence frameworks.
