Reports the Director, Payroll. Responsible for accurate calculations of payroll taxes and timely payroll tax filings to all appropriate jurisdictions.

• Ensure taxes are calculated accurately and sent timely each week.
• Responsible for quarterly and annual tax withholding filings.
• Responsible for annual creation and distribution of W2 forms to all MTC employees.
• Reconcile payroll and payroll tax accounts.
• Assist MTC locations with payroll tax related inquiries.
• Responsible for interdivisional entries related to payroll taxes.
• Resolve inquiries from the tax agencies in a timely manner.
• Assist in the preparation of audit requests as they arise.
• Maintain accountability of property; adheres to safety practices.
• Contribute to our company Culture of Caring by maintaining positive and respectful relationships with employees, customers, vendors, program recipients and our community.
• It is expected that the incumbent shall perform other duties as assigned within his/her capabilities as determined by management.

• Bachelor's degree in accounting. Experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Minimum four years of experience, two of which must be supervisory.
• Must demonstrate knowledge of federal government accounting procedures and requirements.
• Must be willing and able to travel.
• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Unless waived by management, valid driver’s license in the state of employment with an acceptable driving record.
