Northern Utah Homebuilder Division President

Overview

Cole West is seeking a Division President to lead its Northern Utah Homebuilding Division. This is a full-time, on-site role in Centerville, Utah. The Division President will be fully accountable for all homebuilding operations, including strategic growth, establishment and execution of business plans, and team leadership. This role is for a proven homebuilding leader with 5+ years of experience in successfully managing teams and multiple residential projects.

• Work with the Homebuilding President to set the Division strategy for land acquisition and growth.
• Lead and mentor all Division department heads including Land, Architecture, Construction Operations, and Sales to promote operational excellence.
• Partner with Homebuilding department heads including Legal, Finance, Human Resources, Marketing, and Accounting to promote efficient operations and communication.
• Own the P&L for the Division by developing and executing on business plans and ensuring efficient deployment of capital allocation.

• 5+ years of senior leadership in homebuilding with a successful track record of P&L responsibility.
• Proven track record as a leader of people.
• World-class work ethic and commitment to winning.
• Proven experience in management of budgets, schedules, and personnel, with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Strong strategic planning, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels.
• Strict commitment to ethical behavior and holding others accountable to the same high standards.

• Prior role as Division President, VP, or C-suite executive (or equivalent) within a homebuilding company.
• Experience with large-scale residential developments and homebuilding operations.
• Experience with capital markets, joint ventures, and external financing
