Production Worker – GRP​/Composites; Centerville, UT

Overview

Our company, a leading manufacturer of components for the rail market, operates globally with headquarters in Switzerland and a state-of-the-art factory in Poland. With a solid reputation for working with valued customers such as STADLER, SIEMENS, ASTOM, BOMBARDIER and TALGO, we are now expanding our operations to the United States with a new factory in Centerville, Utah, 20 minutes north of downtown Salt Lake City.

We are looking for reliable, hands-on people – ideally with experience in GRP / fiberglass / composites production
.

As a Production Worker in our newly established Centerville factory, you will play a crucial role in various manufacturing processes such as:

• Laminating fiberglass (GRP) parts
• Trimming, grinding, drilling
• Assembly
• Working with molds and hand tools
• Finishing and surface preparation
• Painting

You can have the opportunity to work in a dynamic, international team, gain experience in various production processes, and contribute to the development of the factory and the efficient production of glass fiber reinforced plastic (GRP) components.

• Execute manual tasks involved in the production of GRP parts, including laminating, surface grinding, painting, final assembly, and packaging.
• Demonstrate good manual skills and attention to detail in all manufacturing processes.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and meet production targets.
• Contribute to the setup and preparation of the factory for efficiency GRP production.
• Follow safety protocols and adhere to quality standards throughout the manufacturing process.
• Adapt to new challenges daily, demonstrating flexibility and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

• Strong manual skills and attention to detail.
• Experience in manufacturing, particularly in the production of GRP parts, is a plus but not required.
• Experience in painting is welcome.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
• Ability to contribute to the efficient setup of the factory for GRP production.
