Role

Summary:

The Processing Trim Agent will be responsible for trimming the medical cannabis product to quality and efficiency standards. The position could also include packaging, harvest breakdown, and other duties.

• Maintain a positive attitude that promotes teamwork

• Perform the duties of the position in a safe and efficient manner
• Ability to work on your own or with a team depending on the task
• Maintain a clean and safe workspace throughout your shift
• Clean and reset processing equipment at the end of each shift
• Follow safety guidelines and PPE requirements
• Accurately follow standard operating procedures for each process, observe, and offer improvement suggestions
• Set goals and meet deadlines
• Engage in industry education and professional development, as needed
• Assist with harvesting and procedures involved in preparing harvested flowers for processing
• Hand or machine trim flower quickly and efficiently
• Maintain consistent trim numbers without sacrificing quality
• Accurately weigh and record trimming weights and numbers
• Ability to sit, stand, or walk for extended periods
• Perform occasional moderate to heavy manual labor
• Perform repetitive motions of hands, wrists, and forearms
• Proper disposal of any waste
• Help maintain inventory of applicable materials and products
• General facility cleaning and other duties to maintain an optimal work environment
• Other duties as requested

• Minimum High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to pass a federal background check and obtain proper licensing to handle medical cannabis
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Must have a food handlers permit
• Cannabis industry experience preferred but not required
• Experience in horticulture, agriculture, or manufacturing preferred
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Self-motivated, methodical, versatile, mechanically inclined
• Must be able to push, pull, or lift a minimum of 50 pounds
• Must remain compliant with all applicable laws and company SOPs
• Effective communication via email, phone, text, or other company methods
• Reliable transportation to and from work
• Ability to work beyond regularly scheduled hours to meet production deadlines
• Basic computer skills (e.g., email, Excel)
• Customer service experience for the pharmacy environment
• Ability to stand or sit for 8-12 hours and lift up to 50 pounds multiple times daily
