Part Time Cashier and Play Attendant - Centerville

Join our team at Coconut Cove located at 1040 N 950 W, Suite 600, Centerville, UT! It is a great place to work in a fun environment! Work with kids, moms, birthday parties, and good co‑workers.

We are looking to hire employees who can work shifts from Monday through Saturday. Typically, employees work between 2 to 5 shifts per week, and alternate Saturdays. It is quite flexible, and some work more hours while others work less, depending on preference.

Coconut Cove is an indoor fun center for children ages 0 to 12. It offers a fun, active and interactive, soft‑play, indoor playground for young children and their parents. It is great for birthday parties, family events, or simply a fun activity for children. The playground features a number of structures providing many activities to keep children entertained. All employees are trained to work well with children and customers, and to keep the facilities clean and sanitary at all times.

The cashier and play attendant is responsible for maintaining guest service, generating sales in‑house, operating the cash register (POS), and general housekeeping. The cashier and play attendant is often the first person to greet guests with a smile. He/she must provide excellent customer service to patrons at the counter and over the phone. This position also helps maintain the cleanliness of the facility: bathrooms, party rooms, eating areas, and play areas.

The person will be required to obtain a food handlers permit and help prepare pizzas at the café.

• Greet customers
• Provide relevant information to playground guests
• Assist with birthday party services
• Explain the Coconut Cove play rules
• Handle and enforce waiver policies
• Complete sales transactions
• Prepare pizzas
• Sell and disperse socks and snacks to patrons
• Stock front desk, janitorial supplies, and concessions inventory
• Daily cleaning: bathrooms, party rooms, eating, sitting, entry and play areas
• Other duties as assigned

Job Type: Part‑time

Pay: $8.00 - $10.00 per hour
