Senior Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician

Location: WM Supercenter #3366, 221 W Parrish Ln, Centerville, UT

• Maintain and repair Walmart facility's refrigeration HVAC equipment and assets using commercial HVAC and refrigeration skills, hand tools, digital tools, power tools, and other equipment.
• Utilize the work order management system to receive repair work orders, support store associates, and document repair activities.
• Inspect, operate, and test facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues.
• Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls.
• Complete all required training to operate equipment and tools safely.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations and guidelines.
• Lift up to 75 pounds, move up and down ladders, and comfortably work at heights frequently.

• 10 years’ experience in commercial refrigeration HVAC maintenance (or 8 years’ experience with HVAC/grocery rack refrigeration and an AAS in A/C and Refrigeration).
• Type I/Type II or Universal EPA certification for refrigerant handling.
• Valid state-issued driver’s license with a clean driving record; ability to pass a MVR report.
• 18 years or older with a high school diploma or equivalent.

• Completion of a 2-year technical/vocational HVAC/R program or 2-year associate’s of applied science in A/C and refrigeration.
• Excellent driving record.
• Prior work experience with glycol and CO2 systems.

Individual compensation packages are based on experience, qualification and other factors. Hourly wage range: $26.00 – $51.00. Bonus incentive awards may be available.
