Trainee Installer

Location: Ampthill

We are currently recruiting for a Trainee Shutter Door Installer to join a highly reputable client based in Ampthill (MK45). This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop a long-term career within a specialist installation role, with full training and support provided.

Working Hours:

* Monday to Friday
 
* Contracted hours: 42.5 hours per week

* Working hours can vary and may include unsociable hours and different shift patterns
 
* Flexibility is required to work outside standard hours when needed
 
* In practice, you may work approximately 30 hours across 3–4 days, while still receiving payment for the full contracted 42.5 hours

Key Requirements:

* Full UK driving licence (preferably with no points)
 
* Ability to read and understand technical drawings
 
* A positive attitude and willingness to learn
 
* Ability to complete clear written notes and documentation
 
* Flexibility to work varying shifts and travel to different sites

Role Responsibilities:

* Travelling to customer sites to assist with the fitting and installation of shutter doors
 
* Working as part of an installation team while developing technical skills
 
* Following site procedures and maintaining high standards of workmanship
