Preschool Teacher Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Preschool Teacher Assistant to join our early childhood education team in Central Falls, RI. The ideal candidate will support lead teachers in creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment for preschool-aged children.

• Assist the lead teacher in planning and implementing age-appropriate activities and lessons.
• Support children’s social, emotional, and cognitive development through guided play and instruction.
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment.
• Supervise children during indoor and outdoor activities to ensure their safety and well‑being.
• Assist with classroom management and behavior guidance under the direction of the lead teacher.
• Communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff members.
• Help prepare materials and set up learning centers.
• Observe and document children’s progress and report to the lead teacher as needed.

• Previous experience as a preschool teacher assistant or in early childhood education preferred.
• Strong understanding of child development and age‑appropriate practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patient, compassionate, and enthusiastic about working with young children.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
• CPR and First Aid certification is a plus.
