Special Education Teacher - Falls, RI

• Current Rhode Island SPED Certification is required
• Experience with individualized instruction and small group teaching is highly desirable
• Strong communication skills with students, families, and colleagues
• Familiarity with creating, implementing, and tracking progress on IEPs for elementary-aged students

• Plan and execute lessons for students in 2nd or 3rd grade in accordance with their IEPs
• Adapt teaching strategies to accommodate diverse learning needs, focusing on each child's unique strengths and challenges
• Maintain regular progress monitoring and documentation
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to ensure cohesive support for students
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment
