Provides patient advocacy through role modeling standards of performance and by communicating and meeting patients’ needs for service. Assists registered nurses in direct patient care, specifically activities of daily living. Ensures a safe and therapeutic environment through observation, interaction, and group activities.

• Bachelor’s degree in social sciences or comparable behavioral health experience may substitute for the degree.
• Experience working with mentally ill and/or developmentally delayed clients.
• Excellent written communication skills.

CNA Preferred: 2% pay differential available to applicants maintaining an active CNA license.
