Job Summary: The Occupational Therapy Assistant works in collaboration with unit staff and the inter-disciplinary treatment team to plan, coordinate and implement the group programming in order to meet the treatment needs of the patients. The Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) collaborates with the treating physician and interdisciplinary treatment team in determining the appropriate evaluations needed for the patient. The Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) provides individual treatment as needed.
Requirements: Associates degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
Training and
Experience:
Experience in Behavioral Health or with a specific age population (geriatrics, pediatrics)
Special
Qualifications:
Excellent communication skills. Ability to work with others in a collaborative manner. Creative and flexible.
Schedule
: 36/72 Full Time Evenings - Every Other Weekend
