Speech Language Pathologist (Bilingual - Spanish) - (New Graduates are accepted)

Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 2:30 PM (No weekends)
Age Group :
Primarily Elementary students.
Facility Setting :
School-based.
Position Overview:
We are seeking talented, knowledgeable, and highly innovative Bilingual (Spanish) Speech and Language Pathologists to join our school district for the academic year. The ideal candidate will be committed to supporting students through equity-focused and research-based practices, collaborating with educators and families to enhance communication skills and learning outcomes for all students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide consultation to classroom teachers on speech and language strategies, particularly for multilingual learners.
- Plan and deliver 1:1, small group, and whole-group therapy sessions for students with speech-language disorders, Autism Spectrum Disorders, and complex learning needs.
- Administer and interpret a variety of assessments and prepare diagnostic reports using unbiased bilingual tools.
- Present evaluation findings to teams and families; participate in developing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Support teachers with the use of assistive technology and classroom strategies to promote communication.
- Collaborate with parents to extend language stimulation and strategies into the home environment.
- Incorporate students' linguistic and cultural backgrounds into lesson planning.
- Maintain ethical, student-centered practices while fostering a positive and engaging learning environment.
- Valid Speech & Language Pathologist certification (RIDE Educator Certification).
- Bilingual (Spanish) required.
- Experience working with children in school settings preferred.
- Knowledge of technologies and research-based interventions to support communication.
- Strong diagnostic, collaboration, and communication skills.
