Role Overview
Provide urgent, compassionate emergency nursing care in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Perform rapid assessments, administer medications, manage IV lines, and execute life‑saving interventions.
- Manage care delivery for assigned ED beds, anticipating patient needs and transitions.
- Partner with physicians, tech staff, and specialists during rounds for seamless care.
- Promote trust through bedside reports, patient education, and compassionate communication.
- Champion quality improvement initiatives and evidence‑based practices to enhance care quality.
- Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program; BSN preferred (associate degree with completion within 5 years acceptable).
- Active, unrestricted NYS RN License.
- Current ACLS, PALS, and stroke certifications or willingness to obtain within the first year.
- Excellent clinical judgment, problem‑solving, and ability to remain calm during emergencies.
- Work authorization valid in the U.S. or Canadian citizens eligible for TN Visa under USMCA.
