Head Housekeeper

London, Mayfair , Salary £65,000 per annum

A professional household in Mayfair is looking for an experienced Head Housekeeper to join their team. This is a brand-new opportunity to work in a stunning private residence for a lovely family. You will be responsible for maintaining the property’s cleanliness and organisation, focusing on daily cleaning, upkeep, and laundry duties. This is a long-term position for someone who takes pride in maintaining a pristine home and enjoys working as part of a large team.

Duties to include:

• Full housekeeping duties, including daily cleaning to a consistently high standard
• General household organisation and tidying
• Care for special finishes such as marble, silver, fabrics, chinaware, and glass
• Laundry, ironing, and wardrobe care, including delicate and designer items
• Reporting any maintenance issues to House Manager
• Monitoring household supplies and alerting when items need replenishing
• Maintaining strict confidentiality, discretion, and professionalism in all matters relating to family and household

Ideal Candidate:

• Minimum 3 years’ experience working in a UHNW household
• Discreet, trustworthy, and respectful of boundaries
• Highly organised with excellent time management skills
• Strong team player with good communication skills
• Well-presented and professional in manner

Days of work: 5 days on, 2 days off (including some weekends in rotation with the team)

: 9.00am–6.00pm
Start
: ASAP or up to a 1 month notice period
Salary
: £65,000 per annum
