Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Practitioner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in childcare and early childhood education, with the ability to create a nurturing and stimulating environment for children. As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a vital role in supporting children's development and well-being while fostering positive relationships with both children and their families.

Duties
  • Provide high-quality care and education for children aged 0-5 years, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
  • Plan and implement engaging activities that promote learning through play, encouraging children's curiosity and creativity.
  • Observe and assess children's progress, maintaining accurate records to support their development.
  • Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues, fostering a supportive community within the nursery.
  • Work collaboratively with other staff members to manage daily nursery operations, ensuring a smooth and efficient environment.
  • Uphold nursery policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations, to maintain a safe learning space.
  • Demonstrate leadership skills by mentoring junior staff and supporting their professional development.
Requirements
  • Relevant qualifications in childcare or early childhood education are essential.
  • Previous experience working with children in a nursery setting is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to effectively engage with children and parents.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks while demonstrating drive and enthusiasm for working with young children.
  • A commitment to promoting inclusive practices that support the diverse needs of all children.
  • Leadership qualities that enable you to inspire and motivate others within the team.
