Deputy Manager – Lively Bar, Central London

A GBP 42,000–45,000 per annum.

Join a fantastic independent bar group known for excellent cocktails and vibrant nightlife. The Deputy Manager will oversee a busy bar/nightclub, ensuring a lively, high‑energy environment throughout the night and during special events.

Key responsibilities

• Lead daily operations, including staff scheduling, service delivery, and cash handling.
• Maintain high standards of hospitality, event execution, and customer satisfaction.
• Manage inventory, ordering, and waste control.
• Support the Assistant GM in management tasks, training, and coaching staff.
• Ensure compliance with health & safety, licensing, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience managing a busy bar, nightclub or similar venue.
• Proven track record running a high‑energy, night‑focused environment.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, able to motivate a team and deliver excellent service.
• Good knowledge of industry standards, financial reporting, and inventory control.
• Flexibility to work late nights, weekends, and occasional daytime events.
