Job Description

Welcoming each new and returning guest with personalised and attentive care will set the tone for exceptional service. You will go beyond checking people in and out, sharing knowledge and love of our region, anticipating guests’ needs, and offering recommendations that make their stay even more special.

Key Responsibilities
  • Welcome guests with a warm and friendly demeanour, ensuring a positive first impression.
  • Handle guest check‑ins and check‑outs efficiently, providing a seamless experience.
  • Respond promptly to guest inquiries, offering valuable information about the hotel facilities and local attractions.
  • Handle guest concerns with professionalism and empathy.
  • Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure smooth guest experiences and efficient operations.
  • Uphold the highest standards of confidentiality and data protection.
  • Address and resolve guest complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Handle billing processes and processing payments.
  • Maintain and update guest records and databases.
  • Participate in regular team meetings to discuss guest feedback, hotel policies, and service improvements.
  • Maintain a well‑organized and tidy front desk area.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry is preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a friendly and approachable attitude.
  • Strong organisational skills, with great attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Opera is highly desirable.
  • A passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Fluent in English; additional language proficiency is a plus.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Please note you must be entitled to work in the UK as this position is not eligible for sponsorship.
