The RoleWe're looking for an experienced and passionate Deputy General Manager to support the General Manager in leading the day-to-day operations of our Brasserie.
This is a fixed-term maternity cover position for an initial period of 6-12 months.
This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll be responsible for delivering exceptional service, driving commercial performance, developing your team, and ensuring the highest operational standards. In the absence of the General Manager, you will take full responsibility for the operation.
Key Responsibilities- Support the General Manager in the daily operation of the Brasserie.
- Lead, coach and develop departmental managers and front-of-house teams.
- Deliver an outstanding member and guest experience.
- Drive sales, control costs and support financial performance.
- Ensure high standards of service, cleanliness and presentation.
- Oversee recruitment, training and performance management.
- Maintain compliance with company policies and all Health & Safety, Food Safety and licensing regulations.
- Act as Duty Manager and lead the business in the General Manager's absence.
- Previous experience as a Deputy General Manager, Assistant General Manager or Senior Restaurant Manager in a premium hospitality environment.
- A confident and inspiring leader with excellent people management skills.
- Commercially minded with experience managing budgets and labour costs.
- Passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences.
- Highly organised, proactive and able to perform under pressure.
