The RoleAs a Maitre’D, you will:
- Lead the front-of-house team to deliver seamless, world-class dining experiences for our guests and members.
- Manage reservations, table allocations, and guest preferences to ensure a personalised service.
- Act as the primary point of contact for guest feedback, ensuring swift resolution of any concerns.
- Work closely with the restaurant management, kitchen, and bar teams to maintain exceptional standards across service, presentation, and guest engagement.
- Train, motivate, and mentor junior team members, leading by example and upholding The Twenty Two’s service culture.
The Twenty Two is a privately owned, luxury 31-bedroom hotel with an all-day public restaurant and private members’ club, set in a historic Edwardian manor on Grosvenor Square, London. You will have:
- Proven experience as a Maitre’D or senior front-of-house role within a luxury hospitality environment.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and guest relationship skills.
- Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail.
- A professional, polished, and approachable manner.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
- Oversee guest service standards and team performance during service.
- Manage table plans, guest preferences, and VIP requirements.
- Collaborate with the kitchen and bar teams to deliver exceptional experiences.
- Train and mentor team members to support professional growth.
- Handle guest feedback and ensure continuous improvement in service quality.
