An exceptional opportunity has arisen for an accomplished Private House Manager to lead the pre-opening, launch and ongoing operation of an extraordinary Ultra-High-Net-Worth private residence.

Currently under construction, this landmark estate has been conceived to deliver the standards, precision and service philosophy of a world-class five-star boutique hotel, whilst remaining, above all else, a warm, highly personalised private home.

We are seeking an experienced hospitality professional who understands both luxury hotel operations and the unique nuances of private service. Candidates who have played a key role in the pre-opening of a luxury boutique hotel, private members' club or ultra-luxury resort will be particularly well suited, particularly where this experience has been complemented by senior positions within distinguished private households.

This is a rare opportunity to establish every aspect of the estate's operational infrastructure from the ground up, creating the systems, standards and culture that will define the residence for years to come.

The Role

Reporting directly to the Principal and Family Office, the House Manager will assume complete responsibility for the operational management of the estate, ensuring every element of the property functions seamlessly and to the highest international standards.

The successful candidate will create an environment where discreet, intuitive service is delivered effortlessly, bringing the excellence of five-star hospitality into a private residence without ever making it feel like a hotel.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the operational pre-opening of the estate, establishing all household systems, procedures and service standards.
• Recruit, train, mentor and inspire a high-performing household team.
• Oversee all departments including housekeeping, front-of-house, guest services, maintenance, security and estate presentation.
• Develop a comprehensive Estate Operations Manual covering service protocols, standard operating procedures, maintenance schedules, emergency planning and household systems.
• Create and implement preventative maintenance programmes and oversee estate improvement projects.
• Manage contractors, consultants, suppliers and specialist artisans throughout the final construction, commissioning and operational phases.
• Oversee procurement, inventories, purchasing and budget management.
• Plan and execute private entertaining, family events and distinguished guest visits to exceptional standards.
• Liaise closely with the Principal, Family Office, architects, designers and external advisers during the transition from construction to occupation.
• Maintain absolute discretion, confidentiality and professionalism in every aspect of the role.
• Take complete ownership of the estate's day-to-day operation, ensuring consistency, continuity and exceptional attention to detail across every department.

The Ideal Candidate

You will ideally possess:

• Significant senior management experience within a five-star luxury boutique hotel, private members' club or internationally recognised luxury hospitality environment.
