We are thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity for a passionate and skilled

Pastry Chef de Partie to join our esteemed culinary team at the Ham Yard  this role, you will play a key part in our kitchen operations, contributing to the creation of exquisite pastries that delight our guests. You will work closely with our talented chefs, assisting with the order of service for lunchand dinner, and ensuring the highest standards of quality and presentation.

Responsibilities:

• Createand prepare a variety of pastries, desserts, and baked goods to our exacting standards.
• Assist inthe day-to-day operations of the pastry section, maintaining a smooth workflow.
• Supervise and mentor junior members of the pastry team, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment.
• Maintain meticulous attention to detail to ensure the quality and consistency of all products.
• Managestock levels, place orders, and control inventory to minimise waste and ensure freshness.
• Upholdthe highest standards of hygiene and cleanliness in the kitchen.

What you Need:

• Proven experience in a similar role within a busy kitchen environment.
• Demonstratedability to supervise and lead a small team effectively.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a passion for creating beautiful pastries.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Experience in ordering and stock control.
• Apositive attitude and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic setting.
