Location: Central London – various locations across Zone 1
Salary: £14.80 per hour, with £20.00 per hour for evening work
Contract Type: Full-time
Working Hours: 32 hours per week
Working Days: Monday-Friday
Shift Pattern: 6:30am-11:00pm, depending on business requirements
Holiday Entitlement for 40 hours: 20 days plus Bank Holidays, increasing to 21 days after one year (pro rata for 32 hours, 179.2 hours)
Probation Period: 4 months
About the RoleBennett Hay is looking for a Corporate Catering & Hospitality Assistant to join our Elite Team, supporting a variety of prestigious corporate locations across Central London.
This is a varied role suited to someone who enjoys delivering high-quality hospitality and customer service in a professional corporate environment. You will support everything from meeting room service and coffee provision to breakfast and lunch service, evening hospitality events and the day-to-day running of coffee and bar areas.
You will be expected to deliver a consistently high standard of service, ensuring every interaction with clients, colleagues and visitors reflects the 5-star experience Bennett Hay is known for.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver outstanding hospitality service in meeting rooms, including beverages, sandwiches, buffets and fine dining
- Provide support for evening hospitality events as required
- Maintain and replenish tea points and vending areas
- Open and close coffee machines and bar areas as required
- Assist with breakfast and lunch preparation and service
- Provide friendly, professional and attentive customer service to colleagues, clients and visitors
- Maintain clean, organised and well-stocked service areas
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
- Maintain excellent standards of presentation across all areas
- Follow all health and safety regulations and site-specific procedures
- Adapt to the requirements of different corporate locations and hospitality environments
- Previous experience in hospitality, catering or a customer-facing environment
- Barista, waiting or bartending experience is preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent spoken English
- A friendly, enthusiastic and customer-focused approach
- Strong attention to detail and pride in presentation
- Ability to work confidently both independently and as part of a team
- Proven reliability and a professional approach
- Flexibility to support different locations, services and events across Central London
- A genuine commitment to delivering exceptional customer service
