Assistant Reception Manager

We are seeking an exceptional Assistant Reception Manager to join the team at Claridge’s.

Front Office

Claridge’s Front Office department is at the heart of the guest experience from the moment guests step through our iconic revolving doors. Working within the team, you will be in a polished, fast-moving environment, where professionalism, warmth and impeccable attention to detail define every interaction. You are the face of the hotel, welcoming guests, anticipating needs before they’re spoken and ensuring every stay begins and ends flawlessly.

As Assistant Reception Manager you will be responsible for:

• Creating renowned memorable experiences for all our guests.
• Supervising the Reception team under the direction of the Reception Manager.
• Ensuring the Reception team is appropriately trained.
• Achieving the departmental objectives of maximising occupancy and revenue.
• Maintaining and building on the reputation of the hotel and ensuring that business objectives are accomplished.
• Ensuring that training is carried out for new colleagues and inspecting their work, correcting and giving directions wherever it is needed.

Successful candidates for our Assistant Reception Manager opportunity will:

• Have worked in a similar role, within a five star or fine dining environment.
• Be confident in leading, supporting and motivating a team.
• Be skilled at managing service flow and stepping in to support during busy periods.
• Provide intuitive service, with absolute understanding of our guests needs to create exceptional service experiences, that result in lasting memories.
• Be a team player who is an avid learner who wants to be challenged and developed.
• Have a thorough understanding of Forbes and LQA Standards.
