Senior Ecologist
Location:
London
Salary: £38,000 – £45,000
We are looking for an ambitious Ecologist to join our well‑established Environmental Consultancy. The role will involve working closely with the ecology team in London, assisting with protected species surveys and contributing to a variety of projects.
Responsibilities- Undertaking protected species surveys
- Assisting in building tenders and creating fee quotations
- Producing technical reports (PEA reports, BNG reports, protected species reports, etc.)
- Managing small‑medium sized projects and some large projects with assistance as needed
- 5+ years of industry experience
- Degree in Ecology, Environmental Management, or a related field
- 1 protected species licence (preferred)
- Full UK driving licence
- Knowledge of UK wildlife legislation and understanding of how to apply them correctly
- Membership of the Chartered Institute of Ecology & Environmental Management (preferred)
- Competitive salary, ranging between £38,000 – £45,000 depending on experience
