An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Mobile Maintenance Electrician to join an established facilities management provider, supporting a major UK retail portfolio. The role involves maintaining and repairing a wide range of electrical, mechanical, and catering equipment across retail outlets. You will complete regular planned visits, undertaking PPMs, reactive maintenance, and minor repair works as required.

• Completing the Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedule within agreed timescales, ensuring all documentation is completed accurately.
• Delivering reactive and planned maintenance on commercial catering and bakery equipment.
• Carrying out emergency lighting and fire alarm testing and repairs.
• Completing general repairs and maintenance across designated customer sites.
• Identifying non-repairable faults within plant and machinery and reporting findings to management, including recommendations for replacement equipment.

Essential:

• NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds 236 Part 1 & 2 (or equivalent) in Electrical Installation / Maintenance.
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671).
• AM2 and/or 2391 (Inspection & Testing).

Following completion of employer-provided electrical fault training for catering and bakery equipment, an additional competency payment of approximately £1,500 will be added to the salary.

• Full UK driving licence.
• Experience using PDA or mobile job management systems.
• Ability to maintain and repair a wide range of electrical and mechanical equipment, particularly within a retail environment.
• Previous experience carrying out PPM and reactive maintenance within similar settings.
