Electrician

Exciting opportunity to work for an established friendly family run Electrical contracting business with over 25 years’ experience in the industry.

** Permanent Static Electrician – Small Works*
* ** Central London Location – very close to great transport links*
* **£50,000 per annum + overtime available + company benefits scheme*
* ** Hours – 11am to 7pm (Monday to Friday)*
* ** Will have the opportunity for lots of (Use the "Apply for this Job" box below). (Midweek, Nights and Saturday) @ x1.5 (Sunday)*
* Meridian is currently recruiting for an established Small Works Electrician to work in the existing projects team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial projects and will be based solely on site in Central London.
In return, the company is offering a competitive salary of up to £50,000, further training, and career progression.

Key Responsibilities

• Undertake electrical repairs, maintenance, and installation works as instructed

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring and lighting

• Requisition appropriate materials, plant, and machinery for each job

• Work as part of a team utilising other skills as required

• Carry out engineering works as directed by the Project Managers

• General overseeing of Project works and reporting

• Set out and deliver works in line with programmes and drawings where required

Requirements

• City & Guilds Level 3 Electrical qualifications (primarily 2365 or 2357)

• 18th Edition

• A good knowledge of electrical services

• Sound level of administration and organisational skills

• Proven practical experience within the electrical industry

• Commitment to providing a high-quality service and willing to work flexibly

• Work overtime when required
