Commercial Gas Engineer

JWB Recruitment is proud to be recruiting for a well‑established heating company with a strong commercial presence across the UK, employing over 20 Commercial Gas Engineers alongside a large domestic team. Due to continued growth, they are now seeking an experienced Commercial Gas Engineer to join their team.

As a Commercial Gas Engineer, you will be responsible for the service, breakdown, and repair of commercial boilers and associated heating systems. You'll work across a variety of commercial environments, ensuring safe, efficient, and high‑quality workmanship.

• Carry out service, maintenance, breakdown, and repair of commercial boilers and heating systems.
• Work across care homes, housing association commercial sites, and communal plant rooms.
• Diagnose faults, recommend solutions, and complete repairs to industry standards.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
• Participate in the on‑call rota (1 in 5/6).

You will primarily cover:
West London, Surrey, Berkshire, Slough, and Hampshire.

• Contracted hours: 40 hours per week
• Enhanced pay:
  Time and a half for work completed outside the standard half‑hour travel allowance each way
• Call‑out rota: 1 in 5/6
• Standby payment: £250 per week on the rota

• Salary: £50,000 - £54,000
• Overtime:
  Time and a half or double time (depending on hours worked)
• Call‑out payments:
  Enhanced rates for callouts
• Holiday entitlement: 25 days + Bank Holidays
