IMI Level 2 Electric Vehicle Technician

We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client, an independent garage
, who are looking to add an
IMI Level 2 EV Technician
to their growing team in London. This role is ideal for a technician who has EV safety qualifications and is looking to build hands‑on experience within a professional EV workshop environment.

• Carry out routine servicing and maintenance on electric and hybrid vehicles
• Safely work around high‑voltage systems in line with IMI Level 2 guidelines
• Perform vehicle health checks and basic inspections
• Assist senior EV technicians with diagnostics and repairs where required
• Maintain accurate service records and safety documentation
• Follow all health, safety, and environmental procedures

• IMI Level 2 Award in Electric/Hybrid Vehicle Hazard Awareness (essential)
• NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent
• Basic understanding of EV systems and workshop safety procedures
• Strong work ethic and willingness to develop EV skills
• Full UK driving licence preferred

Salary:£30,000 – £42,000 per annum (DOE)
