We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established and highly respected property maintenance contractor, supporting their long-term partnership with Southern Housing Group.

This is an excellent opportunity for experienced and versatile Multi Trade Operatives to join a stable, forward-thinking organisation delivering essential repairs and maintenance services across thousands of residential properties.

As a Multi Trade Operative, you will play a key role in delivering reactive repairs and maintenance, ensuring residents live in safe, comfortable, and well‑maintained homes. You will primarily cover North and East London, with occasional work in South London.

Working with modern digital systems, you'll have everything you need to manage your workload efficiently and provide a first‑class service to customers.

• Carry out a wide range of reactive maintenance and repair tasks
• Undertake plumbing repairs and minor installations (desirable)
• Complete carpentry work including repairs and basic joinery (desirable)
• Diagnose faults and carry out effective repairs
• Deliver high standards of workmanship and customer service
• Work both independently and as part of a wider team
• Ensure all work complies with safety and quality standards

• Proven experience as a Multi Trader within property maintenance
• Working knowledge of plumbing and general building repairs
• Ability to problem‑solve and diagnose faults effectively
• Experience working in tenanted properties
• Familiar with PDA / mobile working systems
• NVQ or City & Guilds Level 2 (minimum) in a relevant trade
• Additional trade qualifications (advantageous)
• Part P qualification (desirable)
• Full, clean UK driving licence
• DBS check (or willingness to undertake one)
• Professional, reliable, and customer‑focused approach

• Salary up to £38,000 (depending on experience)
