Electrical Maintenance Technician (Electrical Bias) β‘π§π’π¨

π· Up to Β£45,000 + Β£3,140 Shift Allowance + Benefits

We're looking for an experienced Electrical Maintenance Technician β‘ to join a leading UK Facilities Management company on a prestigious critical commercial site in the City of London. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a high-profile environment, maintaining essential building services while benefiting from long-term career progression and ongoing training.
π§ What you'll be doing:
βοΈ Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across electrical and building services systems β‘
βοΈ Fault finding, diagnosing, and repairing electrical systems and controls π
βοΈ Maintaining HVAC, lighting, emergency lighting, power distribution, UPS systems, and associated plant equipment π¬οΈπ‘
βοΈ Responding promptly to breakdowns and emergency call-outs π¨
βοΈ Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with Health & Safety and compliance procedures π¦Ί
βοΈ Updating maintenance records and completing all required documentation accurately π»
βοΈ Working closely with the engineering team and maintaining excellent client relationships π€

What we're looking for:
βοΈ City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 Electrical Qualification (or equivalent) β‘
βοΈ 18th Edition Wiring Regulations π
βοΈ
Experience with in commercial building services or facilities maintenance π’
βοΈ Strong fault-finding and electrical maintenance skills π§
βοΈ Ability to work effectively within a continental shift team π
βοΈ Excellent communication and client-facing skills π¬
β Desirable:
βοΈ Experience in critical environments such as banking, data centres, or high-profile commercial buildings π¦
βοΈ HV/LV knowledge or switching experience β‘
π Shift Pattern:
π 4 Days On, 6 Days Off
π 4 Nights On, 4 Days Off
ππ 3 Days On, 3 Nights On, 4 Days Off
Shift Times:
π Days: 07:00 β 19:00
π Nights: 19:00 β 07:00
β±οΈ Average 42 hours per week (1-hour unpaid break)
