Air Conditioning Engineer (Mobile)

Location:

Kent, Sussex & Surrey (with occasional travel to the Isle of Wight)

Salary: £45,000 - £48,000 + Door-to-Door Travel Pay + Overtime Opportunities

An experienced Air Conditioning Engineer is sought to join a well-established building services business. You will work across a diverse portfolio of commercial properties, responsible for maintaining, diagnosing, repairing and servicing a range of air conditioning and HVAC equipment within education, healthcare and industrial environments. This mobile role covers Kent, Sussex and Surrey, with occasional travel to the Isle of Wight.

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on air conditioning and HVAC systems.
• Attend reactive breakdowns and fault-finding calls.
• Diagnose and repair faults on a variety of AC equipment.
• Complete service reports, job sheets and compliance paperwork accurately.
• Ensure all works are completed safely and in accordance with industry regulations and company procedures.
• Build and maintain positive working relationships with clients and site stakeholders.
• Support minor installation and project works when required.
• Participate in an on-call rota, if applicable.

• Split Systems
• Multi-Split Systems
• VRV / VRF Systems
• Fan Coil Units (FCUs)
• Air Handling Units (AHUs)
• Chillers
• HVAC Controls and Associated Equipment

Essential

• Proven experience as an Air Conditioning Engineer.
• F-Gas Category 1 Certification.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Experience carrying out maintenance, servicing and repair works within commercial environments.
• Ability to work independently and manage your own workload effectively.
• Good communication and customer service skills.

Desirable

• Previous experience within education, healthcare or industrial facilities.
• Installation experience across AC and HVAC systems.
• IPAF and/or PASMA Certification.
• Relevant HVAC or Mechanical qualifications.
