Electrical Day Shift Engineer – FM Service Provider – Hospital – Lewisham – £48,900

A Fantastic opportunity to work for a leading FM Service Provider situated in Lewisham. CBW is currently looking for an Electrical Day Shift Engineer to be based in a Healthcare environment in Lewisham. The successful candidate will be Electrically biased (NVQ, C&G, 18th Edition, etc.)

with a proven track record in commercial building maintenance.

Working with the maintenance team on-site, He or she will be required to carry out electrical, mechanical, and fabric maintenance to the following. In return, the company is offering a competitive salary of £48,900 for further training and career progression.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Lighting (Small installation, Fault-finding, Lamping, Changing ballasts, Control panel, Power distribution)
Emergency lighting
Air Conditioning
- Air Handling Units / Fan Coil Unit (Filter changes, cleaning)
Chillers
- Re-set
Water Treatment (Temperature checks / Not dosing)
Monitor the mechanical plant
Plumbing
- Unblocking toilets
Pumps, motors
Water Treatment
BMS System
- Monitor (i.e. Hot & Colds)
Undertake all allocated tasks and perform them in a timely and professional manner.
Be proactive in identifying and reporting faults with building services equipment and take steps to resolve them.
Be proactive to ensure all H&S issues are reported/escaled as required.

Hours of work

4 on 4 off
- Days Only
7 am - 7 pm Package

Requirements

Level 3 in Electrical Installations (C&G, NVQ etc)
18th Edition
A proven track record in Building Maintenance
Good Communication Skills.
Multi-Skilled - Mechanical / Electrical.
Knowledge of UPS / Generators / Power Distribution / HVAC / HV LV (Desirable)
Good Leadership & Management skills
