Mechanical Maintenance Engineer
Location:
King's Cross, London
Working Hours:
Monday – Friday, 07:00 – 16:00 or 08:00 – 17:00
Salary:
Up to £50,000 (depending on qualifications and experience)
A leading Facilities Management provider is looking to recruit a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join their team, covering a prestigious commercial portfolio based in King's Cross.

Key Responsibilities- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across a commercial portfolio.
- Maintain mechanical building services, ensuring plant operates safely and efficiently.
- Complete PPM schedules, logbooks, and compliance documentation.
- Service and maintain a range of mechanical and building services equipment, including:
- Air Handling Units (AHUs)
- Fan Coil Units (FCUs)
- Pumps and motors
- Heating and cooling systems
- Plant room equipment
- Plumbing systems
- General building services
- Diagnose and rectify mechanical faults.
- Liaise professionally with clients and occupants.
- Ensure all work is completed in line with current Health & Safety regulations and company procedures.
- Level 3 qualification is essential in one of the following:
- Mechanical Engineering
- Plumbing
- HVAC
- Building Services Engineering
- Previous experience within commercial building maintenance or facilities management.
- Strong fault-finding and maintenance experience on mechanical building services.
- Good communication skills with a professional, client-facing approach.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Salary up to £50,000 depending on experience.
- Monday to Friday working pattern (07:00–16:00 or 08:00–17:00).
