Water Technician - Level 2

We're looking for a Water Technician – Level 2 to deliver safe, compliant water hygiene and treatment services across our customer sites, helping to protect people, property and public health.

• Carry out water hygiene and water treatment tasks in line with industry standards, legislation and Mitie procedures
• Complete PPM and remedial works, including temperature monitoring, sampling and testing (including cooling towers)
• Maintain accurate records and reports for compliance and auditing purposes
• Identify and report risks, defects or non‑compliances, escalating where appropriate
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and customers to deliver a high‑quality, professional service

• Water Hygiene Level 2 qualification (or equivalent)
• Awareness of ACOP L8, HSG
  274 and water safety guidance
• Full UK driving licence

• Previous experience working in a water hygiene or water treatment role
• Experience working on cooling towers
• Good understanding of health and safety requirements and safe systems of work
• Strong attention to detail, with the ability to complete accurate documentation
• Good communication skills and a customer‑focused approach
• A reliable and proactive attitude, with the ability to work independently across multiple sites
