Sign Language Interpreter in Central Point, OR

Step into a rewarding opportunity interpreting in educational settings for the  school year! We are seeking four dedicated Sign Language Interpreters to provide vital communication access for K-12 students in engaging classroom environments. This full-time, onsite-only contract spans from August 24, 2026 to June 11, 2027, supporting schools in Rosenburg and Douglas, Oregon.

Bring your expertise and collaborate with school staff, helping foster inclusion for students who are deaf or hard-of-hearing.

• Valid Oregon Sign Language Interpreter Certification/Licensure
• Prior experience as a Sign Language Interpreter in educational or similar settings preferred
• Strong ASL proficiency and commitment to ethical interpreting standards
• Ability to work effectively with students across kindergarten through twelfth grade
• Flexibility, professionalism, and a collaborative mindset

• Provide accurate ASL interpretation in classes, assemblies, meetings, and school events
• Facilitate clear communication between students, faculty, and peers
• Adapt interpreting techniques to various educational contexts and student needs
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism per school and interpreter guidelines
• Participate in team meetings and collaborate with educators to support student success
