Calibration Technician

We are seeking a detail-oriented Calibration Technician to perform calibrations on precision measuring tools and equipment used in an aerospace manufacturing environment. This position is responsible for maintaining calibration records, scheduling equipment, and ensuring measuring devices meet quality and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate has experience with precision measuring instruments, enjoys technical work, and thrives in a quality-focused environment.

Calibration Technician Details:

  • Temp-to-Hire position
  • $ 25.15 / hour
  • Full Time work available
  • First Shift (Monday through Friday from 06:00am to 02:30pm)
  • Perform mechanical and physical calibrations on precision measuring tools and equipment following established procedures.
  • Maintain calibration records, schedules, and reports within the calibration tracking database.
  • Coordinate and process equipment requiring outside calibration services.
  • Monitor calibration status and maintain inventory of approximately 135 calibrated tools and equipment.
  • Troubleshoot calibration issues and provide technical support to internal departments.
  • Maintain calibration lab standards, cleanliness, and compliance with company and industry requirements.

Calibration Technician

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum 1 year of calibration experience or experience using precision measuring tools (2+ years preferred for Level II).
  • Experience reading technical drawings, specifications, and written procedures. Proficient with precision measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, and gauges.
  • Strong computer skills with the ability to accurately enter and manage calibration data.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to lift up to 25 lbs. regularly (50 lbs. occasionally).
  • Applicant may be subject to a background check
  • Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
