For a Medical Oncologist, SOVSC offers the opportunity to manage a diverse referral caseload with access to advanced diagnostics, surgery, emergency and critical care, and a highly trained support team. Our hospital is equipped with digital radiography, ultrasound, CT, multiple surgical suites, a dedicated orthopedic suite, an onsite pharmacy, a comprehensive in-house laboratory, and an internal blood donation program.

- Manage a diverse and complex oncology caseload in collaboration with the hospital’s multidisciplinary specialty team
- Develop individualized diagnostic and treatment plans for patients with a variety of malignancies
- Oversee chemotherapy protocols and provide thoughtful, individualized recommendations based on each patient’s diagnosis, prognosis, and quality-of-life considerations
- Collaborate closely with Internal Medicine, Surgery, Emergency & Critical Care, Dermatology, and other specialty teams on complex cancer cases
- Utilize advanced diagnostic capabilities, including CT, ultrasound, digital radiography, and comprehensive in-house laboratory services, to support oncology workups and treatment planning
- Coordinate comprehensive cancer care from initial diagnosis through treatment, monitoring, and follow-up
- Collaborate with the hospital’s surgical team on patients requiring oncologic procedures
- Work closely with Emergency and Critical Care teams when caring for medically compromised or hospitalized oncology patients
