• Operate electronic cash register, handle cash, charge, and check/voucher transactions.
• Prepare cash drawers and related paperwork as assigned.
• Receive, prepare, sort, price, and rotate stock for retail floor and conduct quality control.
• Operate department equipment and machinery, prepare goods for sale, procession, or storage.
• Perform inventories, tallies, or other forms of tracking as required for the retail environment.
• Assist Good Works staff with implementation of work plans and guidelines as established for client programs, as assigned by store manager.

• Speak and understand the English language sufficient to read materials, communicate with customers and coworkers.
• Able to maintain the physical requirements of the working environment.
• Perform simple mathematical calculations.

• Experience that would lend itself to good customer service is highly desirable.
• Previous experience in a retail or comparable environment is preferred.

While performing these duties, the employee is regularly required to sit and stand for prolonged periods of time; use hands and fingers to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk and hear. Frequently required to walk and/or stand for up to 8 hours per day.

Must regularly lift, carry, and/or move up to 20 pounds and up to 50 pounds occasionally. Ability to push/pull and carry up to 30 pounds. Kneels, stoops, and bends frequently.

Occasional need to push heavy, wheeled carts, pallet jacks, hand trucks and other material handling equipment with loads weighing up to 250 pounds.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.

Work is performed primarily indoors in a climate-controlled space. May occasionally perform work in outside weather conditions.
